1. Photoplantmorph

Nowadays, various "light up the city" brightening projects have made our city night scenery more "beautiful".
But at the same time, we can no longer see the stars in the sky at night. One of the main reasons for this is the light pollution produced by the city's night lighting.
Therefore, I wanted to use speculative design thinking to warn people about the harmful effects of light pollution on plants caused by human light behaviour through an installation. The installation is a critical and interesting interactive installation that combines elements of technology and art, aiming to show people the effects of light pollution on plants through visual, auditory and tactile interaction, and to raise the audience's awareness and reflection on the effects of light pollution on plants.

So, the

Light pollution is getting worse and worse?!

how is it getting worse?

According to a 2016 study published in the journal Science Advances, light pollution as a global problem, with more than 80% of people on Earth living under light-polluted skies. The Earth is becoming brighter than ever at night at a rate of 2% per year.

When you shine different light intensities on the plants, the cells of the plants change in different ways, and the stronger the light intensity, the more dramatic the tearing and changes in the cells. It is intended to warn of the effects of light pollution caused by human light behaviour on plants and the ecological and climatic effects of the whole.
